Thinking of designing a new logo?

Here are a few quick suggestions that you need to consider if you are thinking about creating a logo for your business.

1. Keep it simple:

A logo should be simple and easy to recognise. Avoid using too many colours or complicated graphics.

2. Make it unique:

A logo should be unique and distinct from those of other businesses in the same industry. Avoid copying or using elements that are too similar to those in other logos.

3. Use appropriate fonts:

Choose fonts that are legible and appropriate for the industry or brand image you are trying to create.
 A font can influence they image you project of your business. What kind of image to you want to project? Traditional, modern, budget, professional, friendly?

4. Consider the colour scheme:

Choose a colour scheme that is appropriate for your industry and reflects the image you want to project.
 Research the colours your competitors use. Not all colours work together.

5. Make it scalable:

A logo should look good and be legible at all sizes, from small business cards to large signage.

6. Test it out:
